Various works, manuscripts and postcards or engraving confirm the age and extent of time associated with these religious sites. The museum’s collection holds several pictures taken by Nuits-Saint-Georges’ photographer Jean-Louis Bernuy, taking us on a journey to the monuments and beyond into the surrounding landscape, composed of villages and pastoral scenes from plains to hillsides. The photographs of Armelle Drouin complete the journey with a unique tour, as a child might play truant down idling paths for no reason than for pure pleasure.
